“THESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS”

At the risk of sounding cliché, there is a lot of value in the here and now that is too often overshadowed by the fear or anxiety of the future. Many times it is simply a product of a very strong work ethic, other times it’s simply because the now is less than preferable. But in spite of any situation, any future ahead, there is a moment here and now that is worth valuing and recognizing. You never know what respecting and valuing that moment could do for your future and outlook. To help reinforce this idea, I’ll leave you with two quotes, from two separate sources yet both surprisingly meaningful:

“I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them.”
― Andy Bernard

Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?”
For it is not wise to ask such questions.
Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing
and benefits those who see the sun.
— Ecclesiastes 7:10-11
